When you work as a temporary worker, you earn 12.5% of your hourly wage as holiday pay. Your holiday pay is converted into days of holiday. You earn holiday from September 1 to August 31 of the following year. This period is called the holiday year. You can take your holiday during the holiday entitlement period from September 1 to December 31 of the following year. This gives you 16 months to take your holiday. At Feriekonto.dk, you must apply for your holiday pay when you are going on holiday and are not receiving pay or public benefits.

Working as a temporary employee in Denmark you get 12,5 % of your hourly wage in holiday money. Your holiday money is converted into days you can take holiday. You earn holiday days from September 1st to August 31st the following year. 

That period is called the holiday year. You must take your holiday during the holiday period from September 1st to December 31st of the following year. You thus have 16 months to take your holiday. At Feriekonto.dk, you must apply for your holiday money when you want to have a holiday and do not receive salary or public benefits. 

Every day you are sick, you must report this by phone both to the contact person in the company where you are on temporary work and by calling DK Vikarservice as your employer on 70 60 59 60 60.
If you have a day shift, you must call both parties no later than 1/2 hour before the shift begins.
If you have an evening shift, you must call both parties no later than 13.00.
If you have a night shift, you must call both parties no later than 15.30.

Each day you are ill you must report this by phone both to the contact person in the company where you are working in a temporary position, and by calling on
70 60 59 59 60 to DK Vikarservice as your employer.

If you have days when you are not working as a temporary worker and you want to receive a benefit for those days, make sure you register as unemployed.

If you want to apply for cash benefits, you must register as unemployed directly with your job center. If you are a member of an unemployment insurance fund, you must register as unemployed on Jobnet and contact your unemployment insurance fund to ensure that you receive unemployment benefits from the first day you are unemployed.

If you have days without a temporary position and you want to receive unemployment benefits, make sure you register as unemployed.

If you want to apply for Kontanthjælp, you must register as unemployed directly in your jobcenter. If you are a member of an unemployment insurance fund, you must register as unemployed on Jobnet and contact your unemployment insurance fund to ensure that you receive unemployment benefits from the first day you are unemployed.

Your tax card - main card or bi-card - is automatically deducted when you enter your civil registration number in your DK Vikarservice user profile. You can also see which tax card has been deducted for you in your user profile. 

If you do not have a tax card, you will also be able to see it. If you want to use a different tax card than the one indicated, you must let us know.
